After his confirmation in Africa and Russia, Samsung will launch its solar netbook on U.S. shores next month. The Samsung NC215S, solar-powered netbook, could lead to a fixed price of $ 399.

The Samsung NC215S is powered by an Intel Atom N570 dual core 1.66 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and a 10.1-inch matte screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
The top of the screen has a solar panel that provides one hour of autonomy after a charge of two hours sunlight. Apparently, the battery life of Samsung exceeds 14 hours per full charge.
